Computer Courses


Informatics Computer Basic Course with Social Media 
(ICB-SM):
 


Digital Unify Programme (DUP) implemented in partnership with STMICROELECTRONIC FOUNDATION (STF). The Informatics and Computer Basics (ICB) course within the Digital Unify is composed of five modules and covers basic understanding of MS Office and Internet tools and their usage, and responsibility of user of Information and Communication Technology. Certificates were distributed to the successful candidates.

Tablet for Kids (T4K) Course


T4K is an initiative designed to equip students with essential technology skills to thrive in an increasingly digital world. Tailored to align with modern educational standards, it aims to foster innovation, collaboration, and critical thinking—skills that are vital for success in the 21st century.

Remedial Education


Basic Hindi

Many children who are attending schools and adult ladies who lacks basics of Hindi and that is why they are finding difficult to continue their school studies. The course will enable them to set basics of Hindi language and continue their studies.

Basic English

Basic English is for students who are weak in English in schools.  Many students were able pick up with their school curriculum after learning basics of English and that is why they are finding difficult to continue their school studies. The course will enable them to set basics of English language and continue their studies.

Vocational Training and Livelihood Courses


Sewing and Cutting

The course is of six months duration and each day is having five batches per day at two different centres. Each batch has 1.30 hours of training time every day. Many of our beneficiaries are able to do their household stitching works and a substantial percentage of them getting work from others and earning their livelihood. Few weeks of absence for the training due to native village visits or domestic issues are the major challenges faced by the trainees to complete the course.

Beautician Course
The course is for 4 months duration and one batch is conducted for One and a half hour every day.
With this the female youth school going and non-school going in the slums are trained makeup artist. After the course they can work as assistant to beautician and later they can start their own business. Beauticians are much in demand and they are able to make livelihood.

Henna/Mehendi Training Course
Henna design Training courses are conducted for young girls as per the need and seasons. This is easy way to generate income for girls especially during festival and wedding seasons

Career Guidance and support  

Awareness and Trainings

YRC provides various information on career guidance, school/college admissions, job hunting and other information to make a suitable choice for their future. YRC also play as a facilitation centre for young people who want to access internet to avail various schemes/application process for educational support.


Social Health Education (SHE)

YRC is also providing health education including Personal Hygiene, reproductive health, HIV/AIDS & Drug abuse awareness along with Life skills education several times in a month. The aim of these sessions is to enable the young people to have informed choices in their life decisions.
